More About Us

Culture My Arts is a surreal comedy concoction inspired by Alan Partridge, Brass Eye, Mighty Boosh & Garth Marenghi. It's a fully scripted, satirical fiction podcast which spoofs live radio and parodies TV, film, music, literature, current affairs & much more.
After a brief stint on BBC Local Radio in 2018, Culture My Arts launched as an independent podcast in 2020 and is available on all podcast streaming platforms, as well as our website.
Each Series is comprised of 6 episodes, featuring silly movie spoofs, biting political satire, humorous social commentary, crazy music parodies, deadpan surrealism, cheesy jokes, eccentric reporters & bogus news.
Series 1 featured a Hollywood cameo from Welsh born star of Clint Eastwood’s Invictus & Zack Snyder's Justice League – Julian Lewis Jones. Series 2 is out now. Series 3 is being written.
Culture My Arts was born in Bangor, North Wales, but has a 13-person ensemble cast from a variation of places in the UK (Crawley, Reading, Stoke, Anglesey, Cambridge, Liverpool, Ormskirk, Barnsley, Ipswich).
Multiple sketches from Culture My Arts have been featured on BBC Sheffield, BBC Cambridge, BBC Sussex, BBC Berkshire, BBC Merseyside & BBC Radio Stoke.
Our YouTube channel features a 4-part docuseries following the 'Making Of Series 1'. The Series 2 version has two episodes available, with the other two currently in production. We also post sketches on social media, as well as create music videos for songs from the podcast.
We funded Series 2 via support from Patreon - it all goes towards covering costs. We make no money and it's all off our own backs. Fundamentally, we're a group of pals who love to get together and make some funnies. But, we'd love it to be more.
