But y tho?The satire of Culture My Arts is ever relevant in a fake news world. Our podcast spoofs the authentic feel of a live radio show to undermine the media's psuedo-authority, and take a sardonic swipe at crap content and elitist snobbery. We parody an array of topics within arts & culture. Sometimes lovingly. Sometimes critically. But always funnily. The world can be a depressing place rife with injustice and stupidity. Culture My Arts uses laughter as a tool to ridicule it, and, just maybe... change it.

Born In BangorCulture My Arts was originally an undergraduate dissertation project at Bangor University. All those involved in the project have links to Bangor, with a handful being local to North Wales.

BBC FeaturedTwo episodes of Culture My Arts were commissioned for BBC Radio Stoke in 2018. We were immensely proud when they censored the word 'anus'. These recordings are now affectionately considered pilots, and have accordingly been destroyed. Forever.

Fresh TakeCulture My Arts isn't original. It pays homage to a format of contemporary satire previously employed by the likes of Chris Morris and Steve Coogan. We're just approaching it with a new angle and different content.
